Terms of Service

Last updated: 6 June 2026

Welcome to Talluum. These Terms of Service ("Terms") are the agreement between you and 786 Infinite Ltd ("we", "us", "our") governing your use of the Talluum iOS app and related services (collectively, the "Service").

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

The short version: Subscribe if you want. Cancel anytime in your Apple ID settings. We'll do our best to make a great app. Don't share your account or try to break the app. England & Wales law applies.

1. Who we are

The Service is provided by 786 Infinite Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 12533644), with registered office at 124–128 City Road, London EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom.

You can contact us at support@talluum.com.

2. Your account

To use the Service you need to create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity on your account. If you suspect unauthorised access, contact us immediately.

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you should have permission from a parent or guardian.

3. Subscriptions

3.1 Subscription tiers

Talluum offers two auto-renewable subscription options, giving you full access to all premium content and features:

Prices may vary by country and are shown in your local currency on the App Store. Apple may adjust prices in line with currency fluctuations or local tax rates.

3.2 Free trial

If you are eligible for a free trial (typically new subscribers only), you will not be charged during the trial period. Your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends.

3.3 Billing and auto-renewal

Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID at the start of each subscription period. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Your Apple ID will be charged for the renewal at the then-current price.

3.4 How to cancel

You can cancel your subscription anytime through your iOS device:

  1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad
  2. Tap your name at the top
  3. Tap Subscriptions
  4. Tap Talluum and then Cancel Subscription

Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain access to premium features until then.

3.5 Refunds

All purchases are processed by Apple, and refund requests are handled directly through Apple. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com. We have no ability to issue refunds for App Store purchases.

3.6 What's included

Your subscription gives you full access to all of Talluum's current learning content and features. It also includes any future features we add to the app during your subscription period, including upcoming AI tools to support your memorisation of the Quran (Hifz) and deepen your understanding. We may modify, add, or remove features over time as we improve the Service.

4. How you may use the Service

The Service is for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not:

5. Content and intellectual property

All app content, including the user interface, lessons, exercises, audio recordings, illustrations, code, and design, is owned by 786 Infinite Ltd or our licensors and is protected by UK and international copyright law.

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the app for your own learning while your account is active.

The Arabic text of the Holy Quran is, of course, the divine word of Allah and is in the public domain. Where we provide translations, transliterations, or commentary, these are educational tools and not claims of religious authority.

6. Religious content disclaimer

Talluum is an educational tool to help users learn to read and understand Quranic Arabic. It is not a substitute for study under a qualified scholar. Our translations and explanations are based on widely accepted sources and aim to be accurate, but should not be treated as definitive religious rulings or the only valid interpretations. For matters of religious practice, please consult a qualified scholar.

7. Service availability

We aim to keep the Service available at all times, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We may need to take the Service offline occasionally for maintenance, updates, or due to events beyond our control. We are not liable for any inconvenience caused by temporary unavailability.

8. Account termination

You may delete your account at any time from within the app or by emailing us at support@talluum.com. Deletion of your account does not automatically cancel your App Store subscription — you must also cancel it through your Apple ID settings as described in section 3.4.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, including using the Service for unlawful purposes or attempting to harm the Service or other users.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we make no warranties, express or implied, about the accuracy, reliability, or suitability of the Service for any particular purpose.

Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law, including under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including lost profits, lost data, or loss of opportunity.

Nothing in this section limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the app or by email. Your continued use of the Service after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer resident in the EU, you may also have rights under your local consumer protection laws, and you may bring proceedings in your country of residence.

13. Apple-specific terms

You acknowledge that these Terms are between you and 786 Infinite Ltd, and not with Apple Inc. Apple has no responsibility for the Service or its content. In the event of any failure of the app to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price of the app to you (if applicable). To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the app.

Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms, and upon your acceptance, Apple has the right to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.
