Frequently asked questions

How do I start a free trial?

Open Talluum, tap the Subscribe button, and choose either the Monthly or Annual plan. Apple will confirm your subscription with Face ID or Touch ID. Your 14-day free trial begins immediately. You won't be charged until the trial ends, and you can cancel anytime before then with no charge.

How do I cancel my subscription?

All Talluum subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID. To cancel:

  1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad
  2. Tap your name at the top
  3. Tap Subscriptions
  4. Tap Talluum
  5. Tap Cancel Subscription

You will keep access to premium features until the end of your current billing period.

How do I get a refund?

All payments are processed by Apple, and refund requests are handled by Apple directly. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, find Talluum in your purchase history, and request a refund.

Apple usually responds within 24–48 hours. We have no ability to issue refunds on Apple's behalf.

I subscribed but premium features aren't unlocked

Try these steps in order:

  1. Close Talluum completely (swipe up from the bottom and swipe the app away)
  2. Reopen Talluum and sign in again
  3. In the app, open Settings and tap Restore Purchases

If that doesn't work, email support@talluum.com with the email address on your account and we'll sort it.

I forgot my password

On the sign-in screen, tap Forgot password?. We'll email you a link to reset it. If the email doesn't arrive within a few minutes, check your spam folder, or contact us at support@talluum.com.

How do I delete my account?

Open Talluum, go to Settings → Account → Delete account. This permanently removes your profile, learning progress, and personal data within 30 days.

Important: deleting your account does not cancel your Apple subscription. You must also cancel it through your Apple ID settings (see "How do I cancel my subscription?" above).

If you'd prefer to delete via email, contact support@talluum.com from your registered email address.

Is the content suitable for beginners?

Yes. Talluum is designed for adult learners who can already read English but are starting from scratch with Arabic. The first stage teaches the Arabic alphabet and pronunciation, then builds up to reading Quranic verses with comprehension. You don't need any prior knowledge of Arabic.

What's the difference between Monthly and Annual?

Both subscriptions give you full access to all of Talluum's content and features. The Annual plan is about 60% cheaper per month than the Monthly plan. New subscribers get a 14-day free trial with either option.

Can I use Talluum offline?

Most lessons work offline once you've opened them at least once with an internet connection. Daily verse audio and progress syncing require a connection. We're working to improve full offline support in a future update.

Are the Quranic translations authoritative?

Talluum is an educational tool, not a religious authority. Our translations and explanations are based on widely accepted scholarly sources and aim to be accurate, but they are not the only valid interpretations. For matters of religious practice or detailed exegesis, please consult a qualified scholar.
